“A strong record of academic excellence.”

Owing, in part, to his early training in internal medicine, his unique subspeciality training and his varied clinical experience,  Dr. Goodglick is a member of a network of elite specialists in the area, consisting of  plastic surgeons, dermatologists, ENT, neurosurgeons, neurologists, rheumatologists, endocrinologists) who regularly work closely together to provide thorough multispeciality care from various perspectives to better serve a patient’s needs. His combination of specialties provides a thorough and detailed assessment of some of the more complex eye and facial conditions.  His practice mainly consists of referrals from colleagues in the Mid-Atlantic area and even internationally.   We are, therefore, always able to accept new patients (for specific neuro ophthalmology issues by referral only from a treating physician).  With such subspecialty issues, patients seen outside of their insurance plans can often get approval for their care. He is recognized as a gifted and dedicated teacher by the residents and students who work with him weekly, as well as doctors in the area and the physician members of the American Academy of Ophthalmology who have heard his numerous lectures. Dr. Goodglick is presently a staff physician at Georgetown University Hospital, Washington Hospital Center, Sibley Memorial Hospital-Johns Hopkins Affiliate, Virginia Hospital Center, Children’s National Medical Center.
